Abstract:
PURPOSE:To regulate an accurate control torque in a wide range by applying a stationary magnetic field to a rotor having a cage conductor to regulate a current flowed to a field winding. CONSTITUTION:8 teeth 3 are formed at equal intervals to form stationary poles on the inner wall of a cylindrical stationary core 1, the side wall of a groove 2 formed between the teeth 3 is formed in a cut shape at the bottom, and a control winding 4 is wound in the bottom of the groove 2. A DC voltage is applied to the winding 4 to generate 8-pole stationary magnetic fields, and a rotor 6 is rotatably supported to a frame 10 in a magnetic field space 5. Many conductor holes 7' are formed at the prescribed interval on the shaft in parallel in the rotating direction, and conductors 7 are inserted thereto. Further, both ends of the conductors 7 are short-circuited to form a squirrel cage winding. Thus, a field current is regulated to control an accurate brake torque.
