Abstract:
To enhance the heat radiation capacity of an electromagnetic clutch.
Grooves 21a and 21b capable of generating an air flow outwardly for accelerating heat radiation when rotation is in operation, are provided for the end face in the axial direction of a pulley 12 to be drivingly rotated. An armature faced to the pulley in the axial direction is supported by a boss fixed to a driving shaft in such a way that it can be moved in the axial direction. And the armature is brought into contact with/separated from the pulley by making use of electromagnetic force generated by a coil, so that a compressor is started/suspended by throwing/releasing a clutch.
