Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the destructive damage on the subject electromagnetic clutch motor by a method wherein decision circuit, with which the current rise of an electromagnetic coil is compared with the prescribed value, is provided and an alarm is operated by the decision output sent from the decision circuit. CONSTITUTION:A resistor R1, which was connected in series to the electromagnetic coil 1 to be used for a clutch, detects a coil current at a low resistance below 10OMEGA, for example, the signal is inputted to an operation amplifier 25, and after it has been amplified, it is inputted to the inverted terminal of another operation amplifier 26. On the other hand, the upper side line of the power source is divided by resistors R3 and R4, and inputted to the non-inverted terminal of the operation amplifier 26 whereon a fine adjustment is performed using a semi-stationary resistor VR. Through these procedures, the operation amplifier 26 functions as a decision circuit which finds out whether or not the current on the electromagnetic coil 1 to be used for a clutch has reached the fixed value, and the result of which is inputted to a microcomputer 27. Through these procedures, a warning for the replacement of a friction member is given before the electromagnetic clutch section receives a destructive damage.
