Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch capable of preventing malfunction due to an expansion of an air gap G0 by abrasion and ensuring a long service life.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic clutch includes: an armature 6 which is attracted to an end surface of a rotor 1 by a magnetic attraction force generated in an electromagnetic coil 5 when the electromagnetic coil 5 is energized, and rotates integrally with the rotor 1; a first inner hub 8 connected to a driven member; and a second inner hub 7 inserted around the first inner hub 8 and moving slidably in a direction of approaching the electromagnetic foil 5 along an axial direction of a shaft portion 8j by the magnetic attraction force of the electromagnetic coil 5. If a strike surface is abraded, the armature 6 is attracted to the electromagnetic coil 5 and moved. At this time, the second inner hub 7 is pressed by the armature 6 to slide in the direction of approaching the electromagnetic coil 5.
