Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electromagnetic coil having an insulative coated body of which the thermal conductivity is ensured by suppressing the loss of inorganic particles owing to outward runoff; and a method for manufacturing such an electromagnetic coil.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic coil 1 comprises: an insulative coated body 6 arranged by alternately laminating, on a coil conductor 2, a mica layer 3 including mica and a reinforcement layer 4 including a fiber-reinforced material, inorganic particles and a thermosetting resin. In the electromagnetic coil, the fiber-reinforced material has openings of which the length of one side is 50 μm or larger, and a thickness within a range of 10-40 μm. The inorganic particles are composed of secondary cohering particles formed by agglomeration of hexagonal crystal boron nitride primary particles; the average particle diameter of the secondary cohering particles falls within a range of 0.5×t4 to 1.2×t4 to a thickness t4 of the reinforcement layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
