Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic compressor and a method of manufacturing the same, capable of being effectively used in attracting and compressing a combustible gas and the like, and being inexpensively manufactured.
SOLUTION: This electromagnetic compressor is provided with pistons 4, 5 reciprocating in a cylinder 1 by the attractive force by an electromagnet and the elastic force by a return spring. A housing assembly 2 is provided with a center hole in which the cylinders 1, 3 are inserted, and the electromagnet mounted coaxially with the center hole and having a magnetic pole, in a state of being integrally molded with the resin. The electromagnetic compressors having various piston diameters can be manufactured by using the common housing assembly by inserting the cylinders respectively having the same outer diameter and being different in inner diameters, into the center hole of the housing assembly 2.
