Abstract:
To provide an electromagnetic contactor capable of preventing an auxiliary yoke from being floated from a movable plunger by an impact force while reducing component cost and assembly cost.SOLUTION: An electromagnet unit 3 driving a contact mechanism 2 comprises: a magnetic yoke 8 which encloses an exciting coil 34 wound around a spool 33; a movable plunger 35 which is connected to a movable contact 25 via a connection shaft 370, includes a plunger body 40 and a peripheral collar part 41 formed in one end of the plunger body and in which the plunger body is disposed within the spool freely movably in an axial direction and the peripheral collar part is disposed at the side of the movable contact; a permanent magnet 11 which is disposed so as to enclose the peripheral collar part; an auxiliary yoke 12 which is attracted to the permanent magnet and with which the peripheral collar part is in contact; and a back spring 36 which is disposed in an outer periphery of the connection shaft in a lower part of the movable contact and energizes the auxiliary yoke in a direction toward the permanent magnet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
