The electromagnetic cooker comprises: a cooker body 100 made of non-magnetic material and having a bottom wall 110 and a peripheral wall 120; and a metal plate 200 made of magnetic material and joined to the rear surface of the bottom wall 110 of the cooker body 100. In the cooker body 100, the center of the bottom wall 110 gently projects upward in the thickness direction during not heating. The metal plate 200 is composed of plural divided metal plates 210 arranged while they are divided along the peripheral direction of the bottom wall 110 of the cooker body 100. A circular recess 310 is formed in the rear surface of the bottom wall 110 of the cooker body 100.
