PURPOSE: To obtain a transducer enabling high cross talk and low loss in inserting and being suitable for eddy current flow detecting by arranging an insulating means among channels to minimize electromagnetic coupling among channels.
CONSTITUTION: Ferrite cores 1 and 2 of disk shape have circumferential grooves on their surfaces. Coils 3 and 6 are wound in the outermost groove, short rings 4 and 7 are arranged in second groove to raise cross talk and coils 5 and 8 are wound in third groove, which are insulated electromagnetically by the shortrings 4 and 7. The coils 6, 8 wound in the ferrite core 2 are arranged on a same plane and the coils 3, 5 in the ferrite core 1 are also arranged on a same plane being opposite to each other. The ferrite core 2 is fixed to a fixing board 9. In this constitution as the coils 3 and 5 and the coils 6 and 8 are insulated electromagnetically by the short rings 4 and 7, it becomes possible to obtain 40dB or more of cross talk among channels and to reduce inserting loss to 1dB or less.
