Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the responsiveness of an electromagnetic drive device and to increase the drive force of the device by associating a stationary pole having a plurality of annular projections on the inner periphery and exciting coils between the projections with a movable unit axially movable with a plurality of circular projections. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of circular projections 4 are formed on the inner periphery, and exciting coils 3 for generating magnetic flux of reverse directions are alternately disposed between the projections 4 to form stationary poles. In this case, in order to conveniently associate the movable unit 2, the bores of the projections 4 are sequentially increased, and when the ends are formed obliquely, leakage magnetic flux A can be reduced. A movable unit 2 having a plurality of circular projections 5 faced with the projections 4 is inserted into the pole 1 and is axially movably aupported. When the coil 3 is energized in this state, the movable unit 2 can be moved in a direction for reducing the air gap 6 with a large force.
