To reduce the operation noise at intermittent electrification with an electromagnetic driving device in which a movement range of a rod 7 and a plunger 5 in reciprocating direction X is regulated by a stopper surface while a displacement of the rod 7 in Y direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction X is regulated by a guide surface 421.
An abutting position between a buffer member 75 of the rod 7 and the stopper surface is set in the range of interval W of the guide surface 421, when viewed in the reciprocating direction X. Since displacement amount in the orthogonal direction Y of the abutting position relative to the action axis of the rod 7 becomes smaller, when viewed in the reciprocating direction X, the moment in the orthogonal direction Y which acts on the rod 7 when the buffer member 75 collides with the stopper surface becomes smaller to suppress tramp of the rod 7, resulting in a reduction in operation noise.
