In the metal member electromagnetic-forming method, an end of a metal member 1 is deformed by electromagnetic forming, an outer surface of the deformed end is pressed against a die forming face 4, a flange 2 of the predetermined shape is formed on the end of the metal member 1, and the flange portion is work-hardened.
