Abstract:
To provide an induction heating device capable of reducing a ripple current flowing through a capacitor.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic induction heating device includes a heating coil for inductively heating an object to be heated, a converter circuit that includes a switching element, a diode, and a choke coil, converts an AC voltage supplied from a commercial power supply into a DC voltage, and outputs the DC voltage, an inverter circuit which includes a series resonance circuit connected between the output terminals of the converter circuit to connect the heating coil and a resonance capacitor in series, and a series connection circuit of two switching elements, converts the DC voltage supplied from the converter circuit into a high-frequency AC voltage, and supplies the high-frequency AC voltage to the heating coil, and a control circuit for controlling the converter circuit and the inverter circuit. The control circuit provides a delay time between a drive timing of the switching element of the converter circuit and a drive timing of any of the switching elements of the inverter circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
