Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction heating type metal mold, in which heat is restrained from being transferred from a magnetic metal part to an insulating resin since the temperature of the insulating resin to be used in an induction coil holding part is made higher by the heat to be generated from the magnetic metal part heated during the molding of a resin to cause breakage or thermal deterioration of the insulating resin.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic induction heating type metal mold is constituted so that a heat insulating layer 20a having 1-100 mm thickness is arranged between a magnetic metal part 14a and an insulating resin-made induction coil holding part 15 in order that the insulating resin-made induction coil holding part can be restrained from being heated without exerting a bad influence on the heating of the magnetic metal part. The heat insulating layer is a gas layer or a heat insulating material layer.
