To provide an electromagnetic interference suppressor to which the miniaturization and thinning of the recent electronic equipment kinds can be applied, for facilitating measures for electromagnetic noise failures in the range of several hundreds MHz to several GHz.
This electromagnetic interference suppressor is provided with a ferrite film constituted of columnar crystals where a long axis (a) ranges from 0.01 to 50μm, and a short axis b ranges from 0.01 to 1μm, and the rate a/b of the long axis (a) to the short axis b ranges from 1 to 100. The frequency dependency of permeability(characteristics C1 of a real part μ' and characteristics C2 of an imaginary part μ'') in the electromagnetic interference suppressor is measured. When the permeability is compared with the permeability(characteristics C3 of the real part μ' and characteristics C4 of the imaginary part μ'') of the known electromagnetic interference suppressor equipped with a composite magnetic film constituted of soft magnetic powder and organic connecting agent, it is detected that the real part μ' is present at a high frequency band side, and that the imaginary part μ'' shows a high value ranging from several hundreds MHz to several GHz, and that satisfactory electromagnetic interference suppressing effects are shown in a high frequency band.
