The electromagnetic pump system includes an electromagnetic pump 10 connected to an external AC power supply 15 and the compensating power supply device 11 connected to the external AC power supply 15 and the electromagnetic pump 10. The compensating power supply device 11 has an exciter rotor coil 18 fixed to a shaft, an exciter stator 22 which is arranged to face the exciter rotor coil 18 and uses a permanent magnet 23, a rotary rectifier 19 which is fixed to the shaft and rectifies an AC current generated in the exciter rotor coil 18 to produce a DC current, a synchronous machine rotor coil 20 which is fixed to the shaft and supplied with the DC current from the rotary rectifier 19, and a synchronous machine stator coil 26 which is arranged to face the synchronous machine rotor coil 20 and connected to the external AC power supply 15 and the electromagnetic pump 10.
