Abstract:
PURPOSE: To doubly suppress head pressure from a fuel tank by arranging a solenoid valve by which one end of a valve sheet is opened by the operation of an electromagnetic coil and a check valve by which the other end of the valve sheet is opened when the pressure of a discharge hole exceeds a predetermined value.
CONSTITUTION: When pulse current is supplied to the electromagnetic coil 2 of a solenoid valve 50, a movable iron piece 50a is drawn in a lower direction against the energization force of a spring 51 so that a discharge hole 61c is opened. When the solenoid valve 50 is opened, fuel is passed through the discharge hole 61c. Meanwhile, a check valve 60 consists of a valve case 63 fitted and inserted in a passing hole 59 together with a valve sheet part 61, a spring 64 arranged in the valve case 63 and a valve element 62 seated on the valve sheet 61b by being energized by the spring 64. Therefore, the discharge hole 61c is closed by the check valve 63 so that fuel can be prevented completely from being leaked even when there is such a fear that fuel is leaked because the solenoid valve 51 is out of order.
