Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic pump which improves controllability and operability of a plunger, in an electromagnetic pump to feed fuel to a fan heater.
CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic pump is divided into a plurality of stages in the direction of the stroke of a plunger 14, and the division solenoids form solenoids 17A1.17A2 and 17B1.17B2, which have respective four phases in two windings. Through energization to the solenoids 17A1.17A2 and 17B1.17B2 Of respective phases, the plunger 14 is driven. Thus, controllability of the plunger 14 is sharply improved. Since the plunger 14 is moved according to energization to respective phases 17A1, 17A2 and 17B1, 17B2 of the solenoids movement thereof is smoothed.
