To easily realize high insulation between an electromagnet and a contact part by locking other plate-like flange parts having opposing surfaces in the flange parts of a coil frame in an electromagnetic relay having the electromagnet and the contact part placed on a base part.

A coil frame 21 includes first flange parts 21b and 21c provided in both opening ends of its shaft hole 21a and a coil 21f wound between the first flange parts 21b and 21c around the shaft hole 21a. For a relay iron 23, one piece 23a is connected to one end part of an iron core 22 interpolated in the roughly L-shaped shaft hole 21a, an armature is supported on the other end part of the iron core 22 so as to be freely rotated, the armature is attracted to/released from the other piece of the relay iron 23 and thereby a contact 3 is driven to be opened/closed. A second flange part 4 has opposing surfaces 41 and is formed to be roughly square, engaging projections are engaged with locking parts provided in both of the first flange parts 21b and 21c of the coil frame 21 and the opposing surfaces 41 are respectively engaged with the first flange parts 21b and 21c of the coil frame 21 while these surfaces are maintained to face each other.
