Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an enclosure for an electronic device which forms a barrier against electromagnetic radiation. CONSTITUTION: A typical cross section of an enclosure is constituted of three parallel layers. Surface layers 301, 303 are made of a high molecular base material, wherein a conductive filler is dispersed and which gives a relatively high conductivity to the surface layers. An intermediate layer 302 is made of high molecular material, wherein a filler of a high permeability is dispersed and which gives a relatively high permeability to the intermediate layer. By this method, an economical and lightweight enclosure for an electronic device can be easily manufactured, having high shield effect can be obtained.
