Title:
ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDING STRUCTURE OF WINDOW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3033020
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable electromagnetic shield in which only a radio wave band with a necessary frequency is selected by arranging an antenna element comprising a short-circuit type dipole antenna of a length corresponding to the frequency in a transparent plate, and fitting the transparent plate to a pane at a space.
SOLUTION: An antenna element 3 comprising a short-circuit type dipole antenna of a length corresponding to a frequency is regularly arranged in a transparent plate 4, and the transparent plate 4 is fitted to a pane 1 through a spacer 5. Subsequently, the antenna element 3 is so constructed that electromagnetic wave energy is not always reflected only by the area of the metallic part of the antenna, but an electromagnetic field is reflected in a certain region near the metallic part, and the antenna element 3 is regularly arranged in the self-retained transparent plate 4 in consideration of the equivalent electromagnetic field reflection area to form an electromagnetic shield. Subsequently, in the patterned antenna element 3, the length is selected to shield a specified frequency, and radio waves in which collection of external information is needed is not shielded.
