In an electromagnetic solenoid, which has a fixed core 3 provided on the one end of the inside of the barrel 2a of a coil bobbin 2 in which an electromagnetic coil 1 is wound, a moving element 4 which faces the fixed core 3 in the barrel 2a of the coil bobbin 2 and is moved along the axis of the fixed core 3 by the magnetic attraction force of the fixed core 3, a spring 5, which is so provided as to determine the initial relative position in the axial direction between the fixed core 3 and the moving element 4 and a buffer member 6, which is provided between the respective facing parts 3c and 4c of the fixed core 3 and the moving element 4 and made of an electric material, the buffer member 6 is made of a magnetic elastic material.
