A coil 15 for a left side electromagnetic damper 3a is connected to a coil 15 for a right side electromagnetic damper 3b via left side first and second switches 25a, 25b, a right side switch 21, and a variable resistor 2. A vibration damping mode can be changed according to a road surface condition, when adjustment based on turning on/off of the left side first and second switches 25a, 25b and the right side switch 21 and the dimension of the resistance value of the variable resistor 22 is carried out. In this way, good comfortableness can be secured according to the road surface condition. For example, the vibration damping mode can be continuously changed by continuously changing the resistance value of the variable resistor 22 so that occurrence of a shock accompanying a switch of the vibration mode can be prevented. Electric power generated by an electromagnetic damper in a vibration damping time can be used as a power source for another electromagnetic damper, so that the structure can be simplified in comparison with the case of being provided with an additional battery or external energy supply source.
