Abstract:
PURPOSE: To extend the life of a pressure pulse generating device with a method simple and advantageous in cost. CONSTITUTION: This device has a diaphragm 2 having at least one conductive area 2b, one side of which is opposed to an acoustic propagating medium, an electric flat coil device 4 arranged opposite to the other side of the diaphragm 2 in order to drive the diaphragm 2, and a dent 13. The dent 13 is provided in a large potential difference area between turns 16-19 of the flat coil device 4 and the conductive area 2b of the diaphragm 2 on the flat coil device 4 side and the conductive area 2b of the diaphragm 2.
