Abstract:
PURPOSE:To surely operate a valve by an increased valve operating force by adapting the valve to normally close the gas flow passage, providing a plunger having a mass larger than that of the valve and providing a space between the valve and the plunger. CONSTITUTION:In the normal state when a solenoid 19 is not energized, an exhaust valve 16 is pressed by a coil spring 25 through a supply valve 24 so that the packing 22 attached to the exhaust valve 16 separates the exhaust port 11 from the pressure port 12. When the solenoid 19 is energized, the plunger 28 moves against the force of coil springs 25 and 27 toward a cover 18 and finally pushes the head of the stem 16b of the valve 16. Movement of the plunger 18 is accelerated while it travels for a distance (l2-l1), in which the plunger 28 travels alone, therefore, the momentum and kinetic energy of the plunger 28 are increased. When the plunger 28 hit against the valve stem 16b, the valve 16 is pushed strongly since the mass of the plunger 28 is greater than that of the valve 16.
