Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable, thin and lightweight electromagnetic wave absorber exhibiting improved absorbing performance capable of absorbing electromagnetic waves over an extremely wide range.
SOLUTION: A porous substrate 3 has a number of through-holes 2. Absorbing films 8, composed of the mixture of an electromagnetic wave absorbing filler and an electromagnetic wave absorbing polymeric material, are formed on circumferential surfaces of the through-holes. The through-holes are not blocked with the absorbing films 8 to have gas permeability.
