An electromagnetic wave absorbing device includes a conductive board 1, and a plurality of conductive coils 10 provided on the conductive board 1 in such a manner as to be electrically insulated and each having a predetermined resonance frequency. In this case, the device may further include a dielectric layer 2 or a magnetic layer formed on the conductive board 1 so that the plurality of conductive coils 10 may be provided on the dielectric layer 2 or the magnetic layer. In addition, the device may further include a supporting member for supporting the plurality of conductive coils 10 away from the conductive board 1.
