Abstract:

To provide an electromagnetic-wave absorption control device that reduces the possibility that the own radar is detected by another radar.

An electromagnetic-wave absorption control device is configured by disposing conductor patterns 2a to 2d on which resistance elements 3a to 3d and FET switches 4a to 4c are loaded in a cross shape and disposing a plurality of the cross-shaped conductor patterns in an array. As a result of this, a radar wave having any polarized wave from another radar arriving to the own radar covered with the device is absorbed by the resistance elements 3a to 3d to reduce the radar cross-section area of the own radar, thereby reducing the possibility that the own radar is detected by another radar. On the other hand, when the own radar performs transmission and reception, the device becomes substantially whole through state and does not interfere with the transmission and reception of the own radar.
