To provide an electromagnetic-wave shield material wherein the adhesiveness of its protective outer layer to its electromagnetic-wave shield layer is so improved that its laminating structure is maintained stably, and that its good magnetism proofing property can be exhibited over a long term.
This electromagnetic-wave shield material has a coating portion 3 for coating therewith a wire, etc. Also, in this coating portion 3, an electromagnetic-wave shield layer 7 is laminated on the inner-surface side of a protective outer layer 6 having a polyolefin resin as its main raw material. Further, in the electromagnetic-wave shield layer 7, there are laminated a polar resin film 11, a metal foil 10, and a polar resin film 11 in this order. Moreover, the protective outer layer 6 is stuck to the polar resin film 11 of this electromagnetic-wave shield layer 7 via a laminating adhesive agent 8. Furthermore, the laminating adhesive agent 8 comprises at least a kind selected from the group comprising an urethane-based resin, an ionomer resin, the maleic-acid adduct of an olefin-based resin, the polymer grouted by the acetic anhydride of an epoxy-based resin, a modacrylic resin, an epoxy-based resin, and a modified silicone resin.
