Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain good electromagnetic wave shielding properties having small magnetostriction and variation in magnetic properties and facilitate a molding process with a high packing factor of resin in a given shape, by at least containing a crystalline metallic fiber having soft magnetic properties and mainly consisting of iron and a fibrous material made of conductor and obtaining an electromagnetic wave shielding material having a sheet shape.

CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic wave shielding material is formed in a sheet shape by at least containing a crystalline metallic fiber having soft magnetic properties and mainly consisting of iron and a fibrous material made of conductor mainly consisting of copper, aluminum area so on. The electromagnetic wave shielding material having the sheet shape is available for sheet products (for example, paper, paper article, nonwoven fabric, and fabric) and for moldings (for example, case, vessel, and wall) containing the sheet products. In an embodiment, a metallic fiber 1 consisting of Fe-Si alloy is used as a magnetic material and also a conductor wire 2 is employed as a good conductor and a fabric structure is formed. After the material is bent into a shape of substance to be shielded, the material is coated with an epoxy resin 3 and an electromagnetic wave shielding structure is obtained.
