Title:
ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE SHIELDING METAL-RUBBER COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002361783
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electromagnetic wave shielding metal-rubber composite material in which generation of dioxin is suppressed and enough flame retardance well up to the UL standard to be used as a building material without requiring a special cost for disposal, while high shielding effect is generated against a wide range of electromagnetic waves.

As a raw material for a rubber sheet 1, an ethylene-propylene rubber is used with no content of chlorine, there exists no possibility of generating dioxin when it is burnt. In addition, even though the ethylene-propylene rubber is used as the raw material of the rubber sheet 1, as the rubber sheet and a porous metal board 2 are stack to form the composite material, the flame retardance is improved by dissipating heat by a good heat conduction which the metal has.
