Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay equipped with a self-holding solenoid drive part which can reliably move to an overshoot position.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises: a fixed contact-side terminal having a fixed contact; a movable contact-side terminal which has a movable contact piece (22) and is arranged in parallel to the fixed contact-side terminal; and a self-holding solenoid drive part which has a solenoid actuator and a movable part. At its end, the movable contact piece (22) has: contact parts (51 and 52); and rigidity isolation structures (41, 42, and 43). When a movable contact (23) moves the movable part in a direction for making contact with the fixed contact while the movable contact (23) is in contact with the fixed contact, the rigidity isolation structures (41, 42, and 43) elastically deform a contact portion farther than an area where the movable contact is fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
