Title:
ELECTROMECHANICAL APPLIANCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003052125
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electromechanical appliance, which can decide whether or not a plurality of its divided blocks are connected properly to power supply lines, is easy to install, and has safety ensured.

If power input lines 110 and 210 are connected to power supply lines comprising indoor wirings, a high-frequency signal transmission unit 131 superposes a high-frequency signal oscillated by a decision unit 133 on a current from the power input line 110 and transmits the signal. The high-frequency signal is detected by a high-frequency signal detection unit 132, according to a current from the power input line 210 and is transmitted to the decision unit 133. The decision unit 133 measures the voltage of the detected signal; and when the voltage is lower than a predetermined voltage, the connection is decided as being proper, and when the measured voltage is not lower than the predetermined voltage, the connection is decided as being improper. If the connection is proper, a current limiting unit 230 applies the current, as it is, and if the connection is improper, an operation display unit 140 displays an alarm for a user and the current-limiting unit 230 limits the current.
