Abstract:

To provide an electromechanical brake for an aircraft having a support (7) carrying at least one electromechanical actuator (8).

The actuator (8) is an electromechanical brake including a pusher (13) axially moving toward a frictional element (11) for selectively making a braking force operate on the frictional element (11). The actuator inclines at a predetermined angle; therefore, at least a part of the actuator is mounted on the support through joint members (20, 30) to allow the pusher to be carried.
