Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a returning method of an electromechanical axial direction setting device capable of achieving an accelerated control cycle, and provide an electromechanical axial direction setting device.
SOLUTION: This method is applied for returning the electromechanical axial direction setting device including two set rings centered on a common axis in such a manner that one of which is axially held and the other is axially movably mounted, and one of which is rotatably fixed in a housing to be held, and the other can be rotatably driven, in particular, a frictional coupling. The axially movable set ring is loaded by a pressure spring toward the set ring held in the axial direction, and the axial setting device is moved to an advancing position when the positive voltage is applied to a motor (application of positive current), and returned to a starting position when the voltage is disconnected from the motor (disenergized).
