For passing a web 60 through the carriage path 6, the web 60 is first inserted through a web inlet 18a and is fixed tentatively with a tape on a frame shape tray carrier 10 via the opening of the inlet side. Then the tray carrier 10 is carried to the stop point below the lid 24b, the web 60 is removed from the tray carrier 10 through the opening on the outlet side and it is taken out of a web outlet.
