Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a heat gain while reliably performing weldment for even a thick plate and to enhance mechanical property such as strength, toughness and so on of a welded part.SOLUTION: An electron beam welding device 10 comprises: an electron gun 11 which radiates electron beam EB toward groove parts 100k of a pair of work-pieces 100 which are abutted to each other; a second focus coil 12B which converges electron beam EB by an electromagnetic field which is generated by supply of electric current; and a control part 20 which changes a value of electric current which is supplied to the second focus coil 12B during radiation of electron beam EB along the groove part 100k thereby changing a focal position of electron beam EB in a plate thickness direction of the work-piece 100.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
