Abstract:
To provide an electron beam welding method capable of recovering toughness even if high heat input welding is performed.
The electron beam welding method comprises the steps of: forming a first weld bead (3) so as to include a groove (2) provided at the butt portion of two base metals (1); and forming, with a lower heat input than when the first weld bead (3) is formed, a second weld bead (4) having a narrower width than that of the first weld bead (3) and a third weld bead (5) at predetermined positions displaced from the groove (2) and being symmetrical, centered on the butt portion, so as to include parts of the first weld bead (3).
