Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron-emitting element capable of suppressing leakage current.SOLUTION: An electron-emitting element including a pair of electrodes placed oppositely to each other, where electrons move between the pair of electrodes, further includes two substrates 1, 2 placed oppositely to each other, two electrodes 3, 4 placed between two substrates 1, 2 while spaced apart from each other and laminated thereon, respectively, and a spacer 5 placed between two substrates 1, 2 while spaced apart from the two electrodes 3, 4, and connected with two substrates 1, 2 and defining the distance between the two electrodes 3, 4.
