Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron gun capable of achieving an electron beam of low emittance.SOLUTION: An electron gun 11 includes: a cathode 20; and an electron gun body 22. The cathode 20 includes: a cathode disk 24 which has an electron emission surface 28; a cathode support cylinder 26 for supporting the cathode disk 24; and a cathode mounting part 27 which is disposed coaxially with the central axis 28a of an electron emission surface 28 in the cathode support cylinder 26. The electron gun body 22 has a cathode engagement part 45 for engaging with the cathode mounting part 27 which is disposed on the electron gun axis 11a as a center so that the central axis 28a of the electron emission surface 28 is coaxially engaged with the electron gun axis 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
