Abstract:
To provide an electron gun capable of restraining temperature drop of electron emission surface, while ensuring high manufacturing yield.SOLUTION: An electron gun 1a includes an electron emission source 10, a Wehnelt 20, a support-plate 30, and multiple screws 50. The electron emission source 10 has an electron emission surface 11a for ejecting an electron beam, an undersurface 14a, an outer peripheral surface 10a, and an extension part 12a. The Wehnelt 20 has a first pore 21a, and focuses the electron beam. The support-plate 30 has multiple second pores 33a in which a female screw is formed, opposes the undersurface 14a with a gap, is formed of a material having emissivity higher than that of the material forming the Wehnelt 20, is welded to the extension part 12a, and supports the electron emission source 10. The screw 50 has external thread, passes a corresponding first pore 21a, and is screwed into the corresponding second pore 33a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
