Abstract:
PURPOSE: To avoid the lowering in the resolution at high luminance, by reducing the lens aberration through the reduction of the curvature radius for the equi-potential lines at the circumference of the cathode lens, by providing the electric field correctsion electrode having smaller hole diameter than the hole diameter of the control electrode between the cathode and the control electrode.
