Abstract:
The method involves impregnating a microporous output membrane with impregnating solution comprising a solvent e.g. water and butanol mixture, and dispersed or dissolved polymer to provide an impregnated membrane. The impregnated membrane is irradiated with electron rays to provide a microporous membrane, where cross-linked polymer is fixed on a surface of the microporous membrane by electron rays. A pre-moistening medium and an extracting agent e.g. alcohol, ketone and a combination of alcohol and ketone, are used during production of the microporous membrane.
