Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly adjust the position of an electron emitter by forming a fixed element of a deformation part between two areas, and deforming so as to adjust the position of the electron emitter in relation to the negative electrode structure. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode head part 4 is formed of a main body 48 of metal, and a slit 42 is opened in an upper side of the head part 4, and a recessed part 40 for having a filament 41 in the slit 42 is provided. Each end of two non-fixed filament legs, which are bent so as to be extended at a right angle against the filament 41, is connected to a support pin 43. The pin 43 is inserted into the fixed element 44, and moved to a position related to the negative electrode head part 4 by an appropriate jig. This fixed element 44 is connected to the pin 43 in an area 442 separated from an area of 441 and a negative electrode inside the area 441, and the element 44 is formed of a deformation part 443 between the areas 441, 442. The deformation part 443 is shrunken a little when a pressure is applied by a tool, which is formed of a chin part 5, in the direction at a right angle against the longitudinal direction of the element 44 at an expansion part, and deformed so as to adjust the position of the electron emitter related to the negative electrode structure 3.
