PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch over a vertical posture and horizontal posture of an electronic apparatus such as a camera according to a user's use feeling.SOLUTION: A CPU 101 detects whether a camera 100 is in a vertical posture or a horizontal posture and detects whether an imaging lens 110 directs upward or downward. The CPU, when detecting that the imaging lens directs upward or downward, does not perform processing in accordance with the changed posture even when the posture of the camera has changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
