To provide an electronic apparatus control system capable of controlling the operation of each printing job in an electronic equipment such as an image output device and more efficiently controlling the whole system including a data generation means such as a personal computer (PC) and the electronic equipment by the operation control.
In generating print data by the PC 2, identification data corresponding to the print data are generated. The print data are transmitted to a printer 3 through a network 4. The identification data are transmitted to a portable telephone 1 by wireless and stored in a memory 9 built in the portable telephone 1. When a user carrying the portable telephone 1 approaches the printer 3, the identification data are sent to the printer 3 wirelessly. The printer 3 performs image output processing on the basis of the print data corresponding to the received identification data.
