Abstract:
To appropriately improve positioning accuracy in autonomous navigation.SOLUTION: A position information acquisition device 1 includes a step width correction processing unit 154. The step width correction processing unit 154 acquires a first distance without using map information on the basis of position information regarding a first point acquired utilizing a radio wave from a positioning satellite and position information regarding a second point acquired utilizing a radio wave from the positioning satellite. The step width correction processing unit 154 acquires, by autonomous navigation using the number of steps and step width of a user and without using map information, a second distance from the position at a point of time when the position information regarding the first point was acquired utilizing the radio wave from the positioning satellite to the position at a point of time when the position information regarding the second point was acquired utilizing the radio wave from the positioning satellite. The step width correction processing unit 154 corrects the step width of a user used in autonomous navigation on the basis of the acquired first and second distances.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
