Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that can save power consumption in generating display images, compared with like conventional apparatuses.SOLUTION: A smartphone 100 is equipped with an estimator 210 that estimates the next update timing of each layer in accordance with rule updating rules, a first controller 250 that generates a layer cache by synthesizing two or more layers, and a second controller 260. When a first consumed wattage that occurs when the first controller 250 generates the layer cache and continues to generate display images from the present time until the update timing by using the layer cache is smaller than a second consumed wattage that occurs when the second controller 260 continues to generate display images from the present time until the update timing by using the individual layers, the second controller 260 generates the layer cache and uses the layer cache to generate display images. When the first consumed wattage is greater than the second consumed wattage, the second controller 260 does not generate the layer cache and instead synthesizes the individual layers to generate display images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
