Abstract:
PURPOSE:To save labor inputting a currency conversion constant by automatically setting up the currency conversion constant based on the amount of currency in a certain country and that of another receiving country. CONSTITUTION:The amount initially returned is inputted as a numeral (a) and stored in a RAM 21. Then, the paid amount is inputted as a numeral (b) and stored in the RAM 21. A CPU 18 calculates a numeral (c) (the value of a/b) and a numeral (d) (the value of b/a) based on the contents stored in the RAM 21 and stores respective calculated results again in the RAM 21 [value (d) is a rate]. In the case of executing currency conversion based on the set rate, the amount is inputted at first, and then the currency to be converted is specified by a currency conversion key 9. The CPU 18 decides whether the rate is stored in the RAM 21 or not, and when stored, executes currency conversion calculation and displays the obtained amount on a display part 20.
