Abstract:
To provide an electronic balance capable of reducing space required for installing a non-contact sensor.SOLUTION: An electronic balance 1 includes: a non-contact sensor 30 having a substrate 31, a light emitting element 32 that has directivity and being fixed on a surface of the substrate 31 so as to be directed toward a target detection space, and a light receiving element 33 having directivity and fixed on a surface of the substrate 31 so as to be separated from the light emitting element 32 and directed to the target detection space; and an operation control unit 50 for controlling operation of a predetermined section of the electronic balance 1 in accordance with a detection signal of the non-contact sensor 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
